Worcester Match 09-29

This was another greatly anticipated match for the Portland Women. We've played these Shamrocks multiple times and always have quite a rugged match. The day was beautiful, the match...not so much. Portland had a lot of spunk but not a lot of direction throughout the match. The first points were put on the board by Jaime who made a penalty kick early on in the game. From then on there would be a lot of hanging out on the Worcester 22 but not much else. Eventually Annie came to the rescue and scored both of Portland's trys in the corner. Jaime converted them both. Portland held Worcester through most of the second half but downtrodden by injuries just couldn't hold on. In the final play "The Shockers" made it across the try line.
